Wall Street Journal: “Apple orders 10 million iPad Mini’s”
Apple has placed an order for more than ten million iPad Mini’s for fourth quarter of 2012. This is what The Wall Street Journal claims based on suppliers information. The rumour is interesting, since The Wall Street Journal is known for its reliable sources to Apple rumours. Previously Wall Street Journal claimed that mass production of the iPad Mini was launched.
There has been a lot of speculation about a possible iPad Mini. This smaller iPad would have a 7.85-inch display, this allows it to compete with the popular Kindle Fire and Nexus 7. The iPad Mini will be sold for a lower amount than the third generation iPad, which makes sense as it’s size smaller and the specifications will be less advanced as the latest iPad.
Apple will reportedly send invitations out on October 10th for an event that will be organized on October 17th. The iPad Mini supposedly will be announced at that event. New Apple products are often sold only a couple of weeks after announcement.
Indonesia as usual has to wait until the rest of the world is provided with an iPad Mini.
Price will follow as soon as they are announced
